Fit2Cook4Kids offers amazing, enriching and many times life-altering camps for children ranging in ages from 7 to 15 years. Some exceptions will be made for age. Call the camp director at 401-294-6800. Camps focus on:
- Food preparation with a chef
- Fitness with yoga, fun and games, and
- Communication/social skills, for success.
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:00 AM. Early birds get to learn the breakfast menu by assisting the chef while earning extra stars on the star chart that gets campers prizes on Friday, graduation day.
The cost of camp is $12.50/ hour x 40 hours = $500 per week. Tuition includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Plus the food used in the afternoon game of Pressure Cooker. Much of the food is organic and farm fresh. There is no charge for early drop-off at 8:00 AM or for late pickup by 5:30 PM. If you take advantage of the extra hour and a half of supervised care, the cost of camp is $10.52 per hour.
Working parents with children under the age of 13 may qualify for the child and dependent care tax credit. In that case you will need the Food And Truth Federal ID number, which is:11-3754693.
Mishaps at camp
Bumps, bruises, cuts, burns, scrapes… minor, easily treated injuries are administered first aid at camp without calling the parent or guardian. We will call the designated person if the camper remains distressed or if the injury is deemed more serious.
We do not administer prescription or over-the-counter medications to children at camp. That is the responsibility of the guardian or parent.
